In addition to safe mechanical design features, an all important consideration in the manufacture of a totally safe cage is the finish. HQ applies the polyester finish to the cages using a powder-coat paint system at 450 degrees temperature. The HQ paint process yields unparalleled adherence of the finish eliminating the paint stripping problems common with other cages. HQ paints contain only ultra-safe levels of toxic elements. In general, the white color paint is most prone to contain heavy metals such as zinc. The HQ white paint has been tested at Louisiana Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory and the zinc content is reported at 80 ppm, a more than safe level (270 ppm is considered the maximum safe content). The nonporous finishes are very easy to clean as food and droppings tend not to cling to the surface.
HQ cages are packaged and shipped disassembled for ease and efficiency of transport. Many engineered features make assembly of HQ cages both rapid and simple. For example, nuts are captive in the channels so that the assembler need only thread in the bolts, which are always supplied in more than ample quantity. Food dishes are provided in ample quantity and are stainless steel. Seed guards, or "skirts" are also provided and attach with a simple corner-clip method allowing for easy removal and replacement when cleaning.
Return Policy:
*All product must be inspected at time of delivery. If damages exist, product must be refused by the customer. If product is accepted in good condition, customer assumes all responsibility for any damages.
*Defective products will be replaced at no cost to customer. We must be notified within 5 days of delivery. If customer does not want replacement then the return policy below applies. Any product can be returned unused in original packaging. These products can be returned after we are contacted within 5 days of delivery for instructions. These returns will be refunded minus all shipping charges and 25% restocking fee.
